Product Description

replaced Ultrasonic piezoelectric converter high quality

Ultrasonic welding is a welding process in which ultrasonic waves or vibrations are used to generate heat for welding. Ultrasonic means those vibration waves which have frequency above the normal hearing range. It is about 20000 to 30000 Hz. It is a solid state welding process. Solid state welding is a welding process in which no external heat is added for welding.

Ultrasonic Welding Principle:

It works on the basic principle of energy of ultrasonic wave. Ultrasonic vibration creates a dynamic shear stress between the contacts of two work piece. Due to local plastic deformation and heat generate due to friction between contact surfaces, joint formation will take place at the interface.

All the transducers, we can customize depending on your requirement.

The function of the piezoelectric converter (or transducer) is to transform electrical frequency into mechanical vibrations of the same frequency.

We upgrade or repair all kinds of Dukane Ultrasonic Transducers – converter – 15 kHz – 20 kHz – 30 kHz – 40 kHz.

Wir Reparieren – Serviceiren alle Arten von Bransonic Ultraschall Ultraschallwandler – Ultraschall-schwinger – Ultraschall Konverter – Wandler – 15 kHz – 20 kHz – 30 kHz – 40 kHz

We make our own design with HEX nut front (no more crack in the holes), or we do it also as the original design, both in aluminium or in Titanium.

A transducer or converter changes the high-frequency electricity into high-frequency sound (ultrasound). A booster makes the ultrasound vibrations bigger. Finally, a horn or sonotrode focuses the ultrasound vibrations and delivers them to the materials to be welded. Besides these pieces, there is an anvil upon which the welded materials are stacked and held. There is also some method to apply force (usually air pressure supplied by a pneumatic piston) to hold the materials together during welding.

So what materials and industries take advantage of this clever process? Ultrasonic welding of plastics is used widely in making electronics, medical devices and car parts. For example, ultrasonic welding is used to make electrical connections on computer circuit boards, and assemble electronic components such as transformers, electric motors and capacitors. Medical devices, such as catheters, valves, filters and face masks are also assembled using ultrasonic welding. The packaging industry uses this technique to make films, assemble tubes and blister packs. Even Ford Motor Company has explored using ultrasonic welding to make aluminum chassis in cars.
