Description

Ultrasonic welding is a high-tech technology for welding thermoplastic products. Various plastic parts can be processed by ultrasonic welding without adding solvents, adhesives or other auxiliary materials. Its advantages are to increase multiple productivity, reduce costs, improve product quality and safe production.
The principle of ultrasonic plastic welding is that the generator generates 20KHZ (or 15KHZ) high-voltage and high-frequency signals, and through the transducer system, the signals are converted into high-frequency mechanical vibrations, which are applied to the workpiece of plastic products, and pass through the surface of the workpiece and the internal molecules. When the temperature reaches the melting point of the workpiece itself, the interface of the workpiece melts rapidly, and then fills the gap between the interfaces. When the vibration stops, the workpiece is cooled and shaped under a certain pressure at the same time. A fine weld is achieved.

Usually, ultrasonic technology is employed in pleated filters, made mostly out of thermoplastic materials such as polypropylene or those lacking silicon treatments and handled to create filtering tubes of various sizes according to usage.
